We are River Parish Machine Works

River Parish Machine Works, Inc. is a full-service machine shop located conveniently along the I-10 corridor. Our centralized location allows us to serve both the Baton Rouge and New Orleans metropolitan areas and allows us to offer immediate service to the numerous industrial facilities located along the Mississippi river. Founded in 1980 by Fred Wilde III, River Parish Machine Works has provided quality products and stellar customer service to the River Parishes for decades. Our facility services the chemical, petro-chemical, material handling, fiberglass, fabrication, and machining industries, among others.

We are a complete job shop, offering a comprehensive range of precision services, including custom machining, blueprint and custom design, certified welding, balancing and alignment, pump and equipment repair, fabrication, and more. We are not just a simple machine shop; River Parish Machine Works specializes in the machining of exotic metals to meet the specific demands of our industrial customers. Super alloys, stainless steel, all nickel alloys, aluminum, titanium, cast iron, and exotics such as tantalum, are some of the demanding materials that our machinists and certified welders work with skill and precision. Our machinists are all O.S.H.A. safety certified and carry T.W.I.C. credentials in order to service the industries located on Louisiana’s many waterways. With all of our services, our main goal is quality, efficient turnaround, and exceptional customer service.
